Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

2 Questions ⁉️ Why is Avaya posting new jobs? And...

How the he-l did all of those terrible awful despicable sales leaders land new leadership roles? Is there a recruiting firm who specializes in placing people who crashed and burned at Avaya?

There are a lot of victims in the wake of Avaya. Those sales leaders are NOT the victims. They perpetuated the dysfunction and were paid handsomely to destroy anyone who tried to educate them to not force cloud 100% (many of us knew hybrid was the only path toward success yet we were branded if we spoke up).

So, please answer
#1 -- How can Avaya post jobs to replace those they just laid off?
#2 -- How did the awful people land jobs?

For all the effort out into planting stories in the pay to play publications like CRN and UC Today,
This legal case deserves it's own story.

I would agree that these guys all live in the placement world. The recruiters make a nice living placing the how of good ol boy guys that rarely make it 3 yrs as top dogs. Recruiters love the type who have to move often as it is guaranteed reoccurring income!

If they only settled lawsuit and addressed the problem the employee would not have ended up in hospital

Imagine the legal fees they could have saved if they settled in 2021.

Those Good Ol Boy Boys all have placement recruiters who will getbem placed. Then they immediately hire one another. So FC immediately hired the snakethat was AVP of west and and old NY sales rep.

There is a difference between posting a job advertisement and actually hiring someone.

There is no hiring. The ads are intended to trick customers into believing that Avaya has a future.

Avaya is going to move their headquarters to somewhere in South America. If you are willing to move out of North America (only place where brutal cuts with no severance are happening) to say Argentina your job is safe.

Looks like a planted comment.
Can't image Avaya accepting any academic interns at this time. Also, someone in graduate school wouldnt talk like a community college person. They'd have already spoken to the "university", and the "university" would have likely intervened at the point of Chapter 11 filing.

Wow! I forgot about this.
It would appear this case is alive and well.
Imagine the legal fees they could have saved if they settled in 2021.
