The Flare experience with patented spotlights to drag/drop people in/out of conference. Yeah... what a UI revolution that was! I had a customer trialling the monstrous ADVD and was surprised to discover none of the I/O ports functioned. Didn't have bottle to tell him the manufacturer wouldn't issue drivers until their commercial dispute with Avaya had been settled It truly was the epitomy of tech junk, closely followed by the equally ludicrous E169 Media Station. Expectations were very high when the same product mgrs announced an 'All New' hardphone to replace the aged 96xx/96x1 hardphones. Imagine the disappointment when the J-Series was released...

She needs to get her glasses tightened they keep falling down, almost as if she is a character in a comedy sketch.
Odd to proactively mention competition. Even more odd to actually state they are on Avaya's heels. One moment it's about how "Ring and 8x8" are on Avaya's heels, as if Ring is a threatening competitor, then immediately following Ring ACO. It's leaves one scratching their head in utter confusion? Is Ring a competitor or a friend?

Embarassing and cringeworthy in equal measure; shocking for a staged interview. At this level you'd expect a more professional orator who can clearly articulate to avoid the stumbling and verbal fillers (so, err, um, like, etc). Hastings on a par with fellow Brit (and ex-CMO), Harrison.

Well, we now know she is not one of the Brits who have entertained us with their most articulate, snappy and profound comments.

I do miss them.

It's clear. After 2 years of the One Cloud BS runaway train, the employees don't know how to pivot without contradicting themselves.

Now she does stumble trying to string together the soundbytes passed onto her the same way the US one does. At least she doesn't trip over herself reading her script /teleprompter like the other one does

https://www.avaya.com/en/videos/behind-the-scenes-of-the-power-that-drives-avaya-spaces/1_4b36zmjs/

And then the supreme articulation throughout
"Well, Like, Ok, SOooo, Ok, Like, like, Ok, Well, Um, So!"

Awesome!

As was once said on here previously. The US one was a most bad hire. Focus then was CMO Smoke and Mirrors and not substance. But it was made much much worse when they allowed the "look at me just because" to continue. Especially when all eyes were on Avaya.

Poor UK one is now grouped with the other, when for her it was just a "nerves took over one off" interview stumble. The US one proudly stumbles dozens and dozens of times and turns feedback into her mission to disdain any critics.

I don't think she admitted anything. I think she is just giving a few pre-fed interview sound bites and got off track and tried to over compensate. Knowing it's an UC interview she tried to get it all in and never gave the interviewer a chance to ask more than a question or two. Do I dare say #ukbarbie?

"...Focussing on on North Star, the Experience Platform and it's more about the contact center..." - Yeah, cos Avaya's UC offering was a total flop trying to compete against UC vendors who got it right. Spent many years in Avaya trying to tow the company line (denial) and keep Msft et al out of our accounts; an utterly futile exercise. '...Sure, let's meet up. Send me a Scopia/Spaces invite' said no one ever! On the other hand, '...I doubt AXP's gonna save Avaya' said almost everyone.
