I've been here for a long time and never before have the leadership seemed less interested in the future of the company.
It's as if they've let Macy's go down the drain and are no longer worried about the future of the company at all.
That's my impression, I'd like to be wrong.

If the CEO is stepping down, there have to be layoffs coming. I hope they start with Chief Stores Officer. Making all these decisions decisions without ever having worked in an actual store. Absurd.
Huge layoffs to upper management incoming. If you’re someone who’s been there for a while I’d start polishing that resume.
