I just don’t answer or keep sending the call to voicemail, they can’t force you to answer.

Ive never heard of changing the schedule without telling… managers have to make sure you are willing to work so it seems unlikely… sounds like an exaggeration… the schedule is done by a system… it has to be adjusted because your fellow colleagues call off…thats also why they call u at home. You make requests all the time.. why can a store call you and make a request. Ya know most people want to work.
Former MBA. They are NOT ALLOWED to deduct meals you did NOT TAKE!!! This is the S#*% I used to fight constantly and changing hours/schedules without speaking to colleagues. This is not supposed to be done. Call Instore Soulutiins!! Make a complaint. Don’t be afraid of retaliation. If you feel one ounce of retaliation, YOU WON’T be the one in trouble. TRUST ME. Go to AskHR and search retaliation. Stop being afraid!! Every day they deduct a meal you didn’t take is time you are not being paid for what you worked. If YOU allow it, then don’t complain. I fought for what was right and I was targeted because I refused to be a part of the horrible culture. But I wasn’t scared or backing down. I was there for the colleagues. Please take action!!!
What also makes these calls unwelcome is how they'll cut hours, even send you home early, make a big deal how callouts won't be filled, make you deduct an hour for a lunch you didn’t take (technically you should take lunch, but they should not subtract the time if you were still doing the work), and then next month they beg you fourteen times a day to work.
My schedule changes every 12 hours. On a dime I'm scheduled on my scheduled day off. No text or call they just do it.
Brilliant!
