If a manager changes your schedule without notice simply tell them you cannot work. Keep a printed copy of your original schedule.
Also, this is illegal in some states, check the
States labor laws.
Do not accept calls on days off from managers. IF YOU ARE HOURLY THEY MUST PAY YOU FOR ANY WORK RELATED CALLS OUTSIDE OF WORK ON YOUR DAY OFF.
I highly doubt that's being directed by corporate. My store doesn't have major schedule changes. If so, it's the colleague who's needing the change.
Just don't answer your phone.
I am shocked about schedules being changed without notice. It must be directed by corporate. How else can all of us have the same experiences? They are doing this to full time tenured employees....trying to get you to quit. Think about it...
