Does anyone know when we can start to request time off through Insite for the coming months (Aug. - Dec.)? ALL the dates are considered “key dates,” so we can’t put in PTO or unavailable days.

Are you full-time, PTO and vacations you are entitled to use anytime. Part time associates usually don't qualify for PTO or vacations. But full-time associates usually are told they have to accumulate 1000 hrs or 1year of service. So, don't just think they will pay you for that time you booked for that vacation and don't wait until the last minute.
I called hr today about when august is going to open. I have a vacation booked already. The representative gave some lame story saying it’s depends on your location in country that’s when it’s will open. Or I can have my peoples leader open a case on my behalf and hr can over ride the black out
Aug-Dec is showing as Key Day because it's not yet open to enter days off. Until it opens, EMail your manager to advise them that you will be entering X days for PTO
Companies in financial trouble usually make it difficult for employees to take or request PTO, it’s a way to save money.
We go through this every single year..... There is no Macy's conspiracy to prevent you from taking time off in the fall season.
Thank you.
It should be open now for entering PTO for anytime in Q2. August thru Dec is Q3 and Q4 so is not open yet. If you're going to be gone during those times, make sure you're manager knows. Send an email if needed.
Yes, but Aug. - Dec. are showing ALL days as “key dates,”which means for those 5 months we cannot select Unavailable or PTO days. I’m wondering if those months have not been released yet on Insite? If that is the case, does anyone know when they will be or am I going to have rely on my CSX to input them for me?
Usually PTO is blacked out October-December, depending on your role.
