Talk amongst yourselves.
CPR needed, the pulse is weak.

Sure would be nice if they would be transparent and tell us what the top three complaints are by employees. But then they might actually feel obligated to do something about our under-market pay and ridiculous workloads.
"Every comment is read", yeah and that's where it ends. My LOB's SLT deflect every survey by saying, "We need more information to better understand these comments, but the survey is anonymous." OK, but apparently the positive comments are all well understood....
My favorite part of LTL:
The pebble: It takes 15 minutes to log into a system.
Why: Because IT doesn't test patches before they push them across the Enterprise apparently. And is surprised when they finally do talk to people that their patches are breaking sh-t.
The solution: Get IT to do their job.
🙏🙏🙏 Amazing leadership🙏🙏🙏
SLT is delusional. CEO is paid $16M he should have the best ideas. Was this his “best idea”? Do you see how tragic Metlife is?
Wow! CEO presented Pulse results at LTL and they were pretty darn good.
In fact, for one, the survey vendor told us we were way ahead of our peers.
Now, give us your best ideas to fix this place, and if you are one of the first 500, you might win a "Raise the bar" jacket.
@Zemt+1mxsagAy just submit your action plan to the experimentation fund. I'm sure it'll get looked at then lol
@Yxmg+1mxsagAy but but but we're at or above the fictitious benchmark! Why they spend money on this charade is beyond me. We all know they have no intention of taking our feedback to heart. I laid out a very simple and quick action plan in the survey on what they need to do, costing them no money, and would actually save them money and many of hours of aggravation going forward. My feedback went ignored.
Our organization's scores went down.
Management sulks. And then dump "fixing" it back on the employees.
Wonder if they'll talk about it at the next LTL. Can't wait to hear the spin 🤡
I look forward to another round of MyVoice committees with no actual authority to implement change so the ELT can claim they did something.
I keep hearing it's "better than expected" so don't expect any significant changes from it.
@qbep+1mxsagAy it sure is. The scrubbing and fudging should be almost complete.
Welp, it's about time to find out how great the pulse is.
@8jji+1mxsagAy All good points, thanks for sharing. The ongoing prominent complaint that senior / executive leadership will never address, is their tolerance of inept people managers. Employees provide feedback and it's ignored, time and time again.
Honesty will get you fired.
Please pretty please fill out the survey. We value your feedback (no, we are not tired of listening to you and doing nothing) in fact this is the year of raising the bar so it is even more important to hear from you (my compensation depends on it). This year I promise all of your concerns will be taken seriously (but we really don’t believe you)
My god! How many reminders do we need?
@8jji+1mxsagAy Really wants you to fill it out. I suspect all department heads bonuses are determined in part by the number of responses and the results. Honesty gets no where.
Which LOB was doling out gift cards?
$50 gift cards can’t be real.
Any manager with a team size of 10 associates gets their own report, with comments. Facts.
Most (good) leaders will share results with their directs, and where appropriate and time allows, levels of detail with their team members at all levels.
Many comments are not addressable at an individual leader level (for example, I don’t like our hybrid schedule, our coffee tastes bad, we aren’t paid enough, or I don’t have the technology I need to do my job well), but some are (I need more time for learning, I want more career development-focused discussions, etc).
As managers and leaders, many of us do the best we can - but remember we’re also responding with likely the same feedback that non-managing associates are providing.
And of course, it’s not anonymous (no one ever said it was) - results are obviously tracked so that they can be rolled up by team, dept, unit, etc. I’ve never seen a report that attributes comments down to an associate level, but clearly that large of granularity exists in the data. Just be honest, and speak professionally… that’s all they are asking for.
Mgt sees the feedback. It gets shared among leadership down to the dir level.
Stock ouch. $49 looks like the street may finally be seeing through the veil.
Seems to be more pressure this year to do survey.
Fill it out, or don't. Lie or Truth. Doesn't matter.
Nothing is anonymous.
Remember that.
Nothing
50$ gift card is a bribe from your manager for saying good things on MyVoice. Is a managers bonus based on MyVoice scores?
I filled it out honestly. I know nothing will change, but let them spend time reading and then denying the truth. Always fun to see how the results are always so superficially positive.
$50 gift card for what? I’m sorry that is really funny because it’s so insulting. I’d give it back and say: keep the change, thanks but no thanks.
Safety tip:
"Your participation is voluntary. At any stage prior to submission, you can choose not to submit your responses."
@1pzg+1mxsagAy said, "My VP goes the results after every survey."
What?
Interesting we got a $50 gift card yesterday.
My VP goes the results after every survey. I guess we’ll see
Has anyone even gotten to see the myvoice feedback? I think not.
