Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

'Innovation without Disruption' success rate?

LOL... Quality insight from guy who has never worked in a customer buy-side capacity!

“..A global leader with 100,000 agents spread across all geographies can’t just rip out and replace. They have to keep running day and night. It’s a strategic risk that they can’t take. Instead, the Avaya philosophy is to help large organizations innovate without disruption.” - Steve Joyner, Avaya VP UK & Ireland.

Wondering how many of Steve's UK/Ire customers with 100K global seats have been transformed in the past 2-3 Yrs with the over-the-top approach?

So was there an actual "audition"?
Are they seriously going to return to a one person show again? Seems inffecrive.

"One-Sided Audition".
Ha.
Now it makes sense. I couldn't figure out what I was viewing. I've never recorded all the random conversations with people in my network and then posted them. One is so bizarrely obvious with it's staging that the only thing the so-called "interviewer" says is "ok, good bye"????
Maybe Fox News is hiring?

When ones job is drive growth for particular channel partners, yet they are spending their time on a one sided audition to be the next named host of The Experience Podcast. And we all have to suffer through this. Scheduling, hosting and editing these audition tapes are a full time job. It's really bat sh--e nuts.
It's all about "me". Not applying channel marketing dollars to drive direct growth in a measurable timeline for partners. The Self promotion show continues! (And the worst of it is those who agree to participate have equal parts self promotion/narcasisim. Because we need more of that...)

Spolier Alert!
So reaching! Has never mastered the basics but demands to be seen as a future billionaire.
Must always be seen. Must always be noticed. Must always tag self to anything that seems VIP. Never relevant. Never self earned. Just can't stop
The more you know!

Someone should ask HMCTS about " innovation without disruption " a total train wreck and one of Avayas biggest negative revenue deals ever - thanks to the UK VP....

Ha!

  1. WHY HE-L* are they STILL Peddling the absolutely ridiculous claim that ONLY AVAYA can be the one to support the large clients?
  1. It is as if they were frozen in time back in 2019, Pre-Subscription Scam and were recently defrosted believing business as usual. Someone needs to tell these cryonic corpses about mid-2019 through October 2023. You know, from when Avaya forced subscription into accounts while promising the never cloud option (you know, the forever it's coming in 6. Mos, but it never arrived cloud. thereby
  • Alienating even the most loyal, will never rip & replace Avaya loyalists
  • Removing the vehicle for maintenance and client engagement, which opened the door for clients to begin the 3 year plan to abort. And guess what? It's now almost 4 years since they began the ill fated forced subscription. That means clients have been Ripping & Replacing Avaya for the last 18 mos and will continue to do so based on their years long investment focused on Running from Avaya
  1. Avaya filed Chapter 11 to Avoid having to come clean on revenue generating client base and real subscription numbers. Let me say it another way They were willing spend over $300m in Fees to the lawyers, advisors, consultants, etc and damage it's reputation and strip all value away from each and every employee shareholder to file Chapter 11 rather than admit the real revenue and client base #s. Now that they are private, do any us believe they will EVER be transparent about Real Revenue or **Real Client Base""? 😂🤣😂🤣

Earned his salary right there with that 'Captain Obvious' sound bite! About as compelling as something lame like '...Businesses expect dial tone, when/wherever they need it'.
