Late last year, I declined Nielsen's offer to settle for $51,000. They tried to force confidentiality on me.
Section 5-336 of the New York General Obligations Law prohibits employers from requiring a nondisclosure provision in any settlement agreement resolving claims of discrimination unless the condition of confidentiality is the complainant’s preference.

Do not allow Nielsen managers to illegal discriminate against you. If anyone out there has been illegally discriminated by Nielsen please contact the EEOC or a state agency. Workers need to speak up and file reports if they have been illegally discriminated against by Nielsen management or Nielsen HR. This is your right.
It would be awesome if people learned about how unethical Nielsen is and stopped signing up for the Nielsen TV ratings. It's not a good company and should be boycotted. Exposing the truth is important and the goal is to expose racism and discrimination at Nielsen. Don't support a company that has unethical HR. Don't sign up for the Nielsen TV Ratings or do any of their surveys. If you work for Nielsen and experience illegal treatment by management, you need to file with the EEOC or a atate agency. Do not let Nielsen keep you silent. Report them!
Frank, Do you ever get tired of the brick wall you seem to be against? When will you stop? Would you be happy if we string TT up on the courthouse lawn? You want him fired? Do you want us all to hate him? What is your end goal?
You have posted your YT videos, showing you living in your car, blaming Nielsen for all of your woes. Why are you not able to land another job? Are you even trying or has the urge to take down Nielsen consumed you? I think if you looked in the mirror, you would find the true answer to whom you should blame for your current state.
He who represents himself has a fool for a client. Maybe there is a reason that an attorney will not take your case and you have to represent yourself. You should have taken the $51,000.
In the mean time, you have flooded this website with your nonsense. Some of us actually come here to learn of possible layoffs, not to give you another avenue to spew your own form of hate. Go back to Youtube.
If Nielsen destroyed your life like they have mine, you can either find a lawyer or sue them Pro Se (represent yourself). Even though I declined their settlement offer, and even if I lose my lawsuit, I will keep going to expose them online for what they did to me. Racism and discrimination is not OK. If you have been discriminated against at Nielsen or experienced racism, please go talk to a lawyer. And if you can't get a lawyer, you can consider getting justice in court as a pro se litigant. Don't let Nielsen get away with violating your civil rights!
