Thread regarding Comcast layoffs

Four days in office

Are any of you planning to go to the office four days a week? I have zero desire to do it and I will act accordingly. I'm sick and tired of them talking about collaboration when I know nothing will change in the way we have meetings (all on Microsoft Teams). They just want to be able to better control us. Sc--w that and sc--w them.

First day in NH for RTO and some ppl just didn’t show up. Odds of them getting in trouble for it? Zero percent I’m guessing. I’ve talked to them and they didn’t get approved for virtual, so next week I will stay home too. This is so typical, not everyone has to follow the rules.

OMG, you people, go back to the office, I know it was great to work from home in your jammies but it's time to get back in the office, and do what we did before the pandemic. Yes, it seems like everyone has forgotten how to talk to each other, that will change if you stop crying like babies and get in there do what you should, and earn your effing paycheck. Want to help the economy? RTO... Want to improve your relationships? RTO... Want to shower every day? RTO... Want free printer paper? RTO...

We are American and Americans don't flipping hide at home pretending to be "soooo much more" productive...

Oh and did you forget that management su-ked before the pandemic?? Just reminding you that you are the reason they exist and if you are not there to push them, who will? I'll tell you who, your next boss after they let this one go... and BTW they will be twice as clueless and annoying...

Save your boss from being laid off people, RTO!!!!!!!

I think they are, when do you see outsourcing and displacing American workers with h1b ever fill offices? They do not.

These positions aren’t H1B related stop whining. They aren’t specialized/technology or medical positions that are difficult to fill. It comes down to Comcast owning these buildings and they are just sitting there empty. They can’t sell them, the days of mega office parks are gone. They need to have managers lead by example, period.

We have severe labor shortage on workers. We urgently need to double or triple h1b visas .

In NH most of us work about 20 hours a week and get paid for 40. Oops. Guess forcing us to come in will really show us lol.

My boss in the keystone region. Comes in doesn’t say a word and sits in her office all day does nothing. She leaves early all the time and why does Comcast keep managers like this for.

It’s pretty simple, go in or risk losing your job. That’s all it comes down to. In NH they said people would keep track of who was in and who wasn’t. And?? My boss shows up maybe once a week, door closed the whole time, and she comes in late or leaves early because of “something came up at home”. Super productive. No one cares anymore they dug their own grave. If they want to fire ppl for not showing up they best have great reasons why management is excluded from that.
