I just had a an employee in the LAN team say that there were 10% layoffs going on right now while still crunching those deadlines and they were needing to do their ADXU migration off the clock............because they couldn't spare the time.

Every time a "migration" occurs, I can't help but put on my biggest joker face and laugh at the dumpster fire we are expected to work through.

But hey, at least they are saving money but firing DXC and hiring Kyndryll on site now, who in turn is going to subcontract to ANOTHER company. I think we may finally tap into that sweet sweet indian market /s

And every time we anoint "one of us" to the "upper management" crowd to fight for us, they become "one of them" and thus sc--w us over even more. 🤣

"...a Collins spokeswoman, described the layoffs as "actions to align the (company's) cost structure with the ongoing aerospace recovery."
maybe they can realign their wall street payouts and "upper management" salaries
so that the people that can and know how to make things get more

Complete baloney.
"...a Collins spokeswoman, described the layoffs as "actions to align the (company's) cost structure with the ongoing aerospace recovery."

Its a layoff, not an alignment of your paradigm shifts so that you can best focus on an organic recovery...my goodness after typing that I have the taste of pooh in my mouth.

Look Covid is over, and I'm in tune enough with the industry that the worst of the electronics production lag is over with. This veneer they're smearing all over articles like this is pretty silly.
