Thread regarding Phillips 66 layoffs

Stock Sale

I read a report that says the CFO of P66 recently sold ~30,000 shares of the company. Why would he do this if he believes that business transformation is going drive the stock price much higher? Maybe he wants to buy or build a new house in Spain.

Prob divorce related (don't bang your co-workers if you're married). But to be fair the stock price is at all time highs and it's been as low as in the 40 dollar range as recently as 2020. Good time to cash out...and buy a batch pad in Spain

The Spanish aspect is in reference to the former HR VP who has a house in Spain.

Or he’s selling shares because he needs cash to pay his divorce attorneys.

I get the part of the post about BT but I don’t understand the part about a house in Spain.
