looks like my time has run out.....they'll officially tell me on Monday, but I already know my fate. GL to anyone else out there that might think their job is on the line. If you have doubts, chances are your instincts are correct.

If you're on the bench for more than a couple of weeks questions start to be asked about what's wrong?
The Senior Managers and Partners watch the productivity measurements like hawks.
You can't wait for someone to contact you with a new role. you have to be assertive to find one. That can mean compromise as far as what you're looking for in a new role ( i.e., location, market segments, travel requirements, etc.).
Accenture's operating model is not for everyone. If you can't consistently stay engaged on account work then it's probably time to move on to another career pursuit.

Same here, got the email today - I've been on the bench for about 3 months now - consultant level, East coast...
i m also in the chopping block. been in bench close to 2 months. however no one reached out to me for any project role. looking for outside opportunity and hoping to get out of accenture for goood.
Apply for unemployment ASAP--it is use it or lose it, and you EARNED it.
Been there, a good point to remember is S.S or your retirement or your life worth LOl is taken from your 10 yr of highest earning . They average that out. So you still carry that in the bank for the future they can’t take that way from you that guaranteed.
