What’s the deal with AIG not allowing their employees to work night shifts at other jobs/gigs/businesses outside of business hours especially when there is no conflict of interests? Can someone explain.

Did you notice all of the DownVotes on the Comments from the Posters who are obviously from HR and/or Compliance ?? So hard to identify. Extreme Sarcasm. LOL !
@1ilo+1pBOnXdH What if the employees sought out approvals from HR and Compliance but AIGPIG still rejected and denied the request to work a second job even though there's NO conflict of interest because AIGPIG pays Horse SH!T ???!!! The employees are better off NOT upsetting the AIGPIG Apple Cart and alerting them to the second job worked after AIGPIG hours. Why bother getting on HR's radar AIGPIG pen and opening up a can of worms ???!!!
Why bother putting yourself out on HR and or compliance's radar, they are only their to benefit the company. There is no reason or benefit to proactive and notify anyone of your out of work activity.
You might want to pay attention to the training instead of spouting horse excr-ment.
It is absolutely none of their business, what you do outside of your working hours. As stated in a previous post, those bills are not going to pay themselves.
Outside of whatever isn't considered a conflict of interest, or whatever, they don't need to know.
A person wouldn't need to work a second to job if their first job paid them a liveable wage instead of wasting it on newly created roles at the senior executive level.
AIG doesn’t dictate how I pay my bills. I will work my gigs as I’ve always done. It’s really none of their business. If they paid me a livable wage, I wouldn’t need to.
I do the same....try to beat my record times.
Re mandatory training ...
Surely everyone just clicks through the screens at speed and hopes for the best on the multiple choice questions?!
I can't be alone here ...
This seems illegal to force you to work only for one company. Things that you do outside of work are private and should not be a concern to anyone including AIG.
Obviously you didn’t retain anything from the recent mandatory training and clearly stated how you could do this under certain circumstances with the right approvals
