Comcast has laid off their elite senior customer service reps and replaced them with inept cheap labor. And right before Christmas. What a horrible thing to do to their employees. Customer service at Comcast is very poor. They have gone to overseas support. Oh God. This poor customer service will lead to even more cord cutting as customers become frustrated with bad install techs and even worse customer service. I see more free over the air antennas going up. Comcast isn't looking good at all. I'm going to over the air TV too. No cable TV here anymore. You have to pay to rent all of that equipment and pay for cable service too? And horrible customer service? No thanks.

Yup! Managers promote and retain their favorites, and it doesn't matter how good your work product is. If you want to insulate yourself from such nonsense, read a piece titled The Hatchet Man's Playbook. Outstanding. Godspeed!
this is more correct than the poster a few weeks ago stating it was just management. I am hardly management, I am but an engineer that gave as good a customer service as I could, only to be replaced by off-shore contracting with about a month or so training. Good luck!
