To talk about layoffs after bonus distribution

For the last 3 years, corporate has leaked the STI percentage before January. I haven't heard anything yet this year.
Results SHOULD provide for a great bonus pool but it won’t happen. Stingy PZ and his directs will get PAID where our pools will be flat with measly salary increases, yet again
I’m hearing that the numbers would result in a good bonus, but that AIG is pushing back.
You would think with the good year we had and all the separation work we have done that we should get a supreme bonus. But....all I am hearing now is cost reduction on everything......so...we shall see.
You don’t get kicked out without a bonus for partially met or did not meet. And the target distribution is 15% partially met/did not meet. It’s not like the majority will be pushed into these buckets.
Why do you think that the bonus will be horrible? 2023 was a year with record sales, strong equity markets, new money rates were high for most of the year, sold UK and Laya, few special dividends and several management actions to optimize capital.
The bonus is going to be horrible. Management wants to make employees feel like piece of sh-t and recycle the bonus to managers. Managers have already played their games on the annual PR. More likely to met not expectations and kicked out without a bonus.
