I work for Henryschein now. They have layed off lots of field sales positions and phone support for those positions as well. Serve technicians maybe next. I have a new manager every 18 months been working here for awhile now.

This company is a sinking ship with very poor old school ways of thinking. I was one that was laid off but am actually glad to be out of their unorganized mess. The company ran like a chicken without a head and they wanted their hands in everything like a one stop shop yet they could barely get by selling medical supplies, what a joke. Maybe if they didn't raise the prices every month not due to manufacturing reasons but greed they would actually build stronger business relationships instead of pi----g customers off. McKesson and Medline are how real companies should run like and the reason they are the bigger better companies. Best of luck to Schein but in my opinion it's only a matter of time before they become a Titanic, good reddens 😂🤣

Downhill fast is happening on both sides. Henry Schein cuts jobs and the head of HR sells her stock. What an amazing culture.

HS1 is going downhill fast. I can't help but cringe every time the shameless self-promoter CEO ("Order my book: 'Break Through the Silicon Ceiling!") posts something to LinkedIn, and it is dotingly "liked" and "re-posted" a trillion times by sycophants worshiping at her alter. I'm not sure what value she's added, other than headcount reduction and an executive team that would make the Roman Senate seem loyal. There's been wave after wave of voluntary resignations only to be followed by RIFs, promises, and insane promotions. North Korea is more productive, at this point. ;)

Hi, I work for Henry Schein. Does anyone know have any field reps been included in the lay offs?

Sounds like you’re just jealous that you never moved up after all those years. Take a hard look in the mirror Stan-hater

Was cut during an earlier round of this. I was in it for the values. My heart's still broken. Sorry to everyone who gets laid off.

They should get rid of the high level ‘boys club’ who are just there because they are friends with Stan. Most are upwards of 75 years old and do nothing during the day but collect a huge paycheck and stock options. Having worked there for almost 20 years what I saw daily was appalling.

Imagine getting laid off but hey at least they did it following Team Schein values. Typical Corporate nonsense

layoffs in Aug 2024. prep email reads:

Today, in our second-quarter financial report, we announced the continuation of a companywide restructuring effort.

To enhance our efficiency, we see further opportunities across the entire enterprise to consolidate operations, merge similar businesses, combine teams involved in similar activities, and establish centers of excellence. This will involve position eliminations as well as other actions.

As with everything we do, these actions will be conducted in keeping with our Team Schein values.

Thank you to Team Schein in advance for your understanding and support. We are making progress with the BOLD+1 strategy, and we must continue this momentum to meet marketplace demands. We know you share with us the belief that by operating as efficiently as possible, our best years are yet to come.
