Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Yet another marketing reorg

Org movement and layoffs in marketing, AGAIN. It has been six months, after all!

I wonder if the constant marketing re-orgs is causing any issues for the sales teams (eg with getting the assets/tools they need)? Would love to hear their thoughts on this...

"There is no overarching marketing strategy and no marketing plans. Marketing is driving with a blindfold and its leaders are to blame. Baffling."

Think of how much more competitive Oracle could be if they actually had a marketing plan, and how much higher the stock price could go if they had a strategic roadmap.

ROTFLMAO
Isn't that what the previous 4-5 reorgs were for? :-) Oracle's marketing leaders are clueless. Time for them to move on!

Impacting multiple marketing teams in the US. Confirmed with a marketing colleague today. At least one person confirmed laid off and changes in Dave R's org.
