Change in Company vision has accelerated. Tech Company lol.

There is no going back. Any traces of a warm past where anyone cared about learning is long gone. Trying to find an identity in the tech world using subpar systems.
And AI. Don't forget AI.

Layoffs have started again. A lead programmer was let go, but only after they had completed the majority of their project. Another person in marketing (?) was also let go.

Management is doing a great job of keeping this a secret or no one really cares. HE sales reorg coming soon. Small tweaks but many reps will have new managers, teams and territories.

The Higher Ed sales team will have a reorg in the next two weeks. More musical chairs than layoffs but significant changes coming.

Mmmm, this company needs to de-org itself, so that the world doesn't have to deal with sh---y software.

It's definitely profit first.

I haven't heard anything specific, but things are definitely different under Omar. If the current trend continues, we will be more of a profit-first company rather than an education-first company. Everyone has gotten the message to start pinching pennies and justifying every move. It's being referred to internally as "being Omarred".
