If u are in CX and want to continue at ORCL, start looking for a transfer especially if u are in "high cost" center. Feels like a big reorg will come later and u should all know what that means.

CX is facing inevitable due to multiple cuts. Number of CX employees in US went from 2200 to 650 in 18 months. Fun fact - 3 out of 4 gone. Enjoy.

Not CX again. Please post which teams are impacted.

There were layoffs in CX Dev teams earlier this week.

I am in CX dev team and have regular collaboration with multiple other CX Fusion dev teams. Heard nothing so far during Mar-Apr. We had our lay offs during Dec-Feb already.
So please be more specific.

Surely, it must be that everything on here is a hoax.

You know, they can get a password just by putting you in front of notepad, confusing you and telling you that you are logging into whatever. I think that's how they got mine.

Suppose there was a hypothetical investigation. Suppose someone was threatening a witness to something. The investigators arrest the thug who was threatening the witness and then they just completely overlook talking to the witness to find out what they know. Personally, it seems like a no-brainer to contact the witness. Any investigator who doesn’t do that is either crooked or severely incompetent. If you posed the question to anyone on the street, I don’t think a single person would say, don’t speak to the witness. It doesn’t make any sense does it?
So is everything here a complete hoax? What is the answer?

Feel sorry for you.

I doubt that very, very much.

Some things just can't be posted on here. There are many, many reasons for that and way, way too much information.

Layoffs seem to affect a lot of people, both inside and outside of Oracle. It is what it is, I guess. Maybe nothing can be done.

I am a reasonable person. These layoffs are freaking me out. There are some things I need, just so I can function. Some of the management are seriously just a bunch of thugs who found a way to sc--w employees over. Some are brilliant and require work to crack them open.

just stirring up the pot to get people to comment, but nothing concrete...it does not help anybody.

unless a group / division is specified - such posts are pointless at best.

Saying something that could be deemed internal or derogatory in any way would be risky.

Temporary insanity. Gotta say it really works on me. Gotta watch those confusion phrases followed by something.

I would think there is nothing wrong with saying the simple fact that you were laid off. Saying something that could be deemed internal or derogatory in any way would be risky.

What organization are you in? See on LI that some (more) marketing people were laid off today.

Why does anyone think anyone would use their real name and risk th wrath of the enormous Oracle legal department?

I was going to look up your somewhat unique name in the HR DB, but I thought this might just be a honeytrap for who is on this site. I hope others don't fall for it.
