@seya+1rw8JF0Q- layoffs are coming after the next contract passes for the union. Along with the downward spiral of the global economy. I thought 2008 was bad here we barely had work for the 400 people that were here in 273 back then. When the economy crashes this time it will make 2008 look like a tea party. The Q3 of 2025 will have a 30% reduction from now till then turn over on salary side is starting.

Regarding layoffs within the energy sector, the available information does not specifically mention layoffs resulting from this spin-off. However, corporate restructuring and spin-offs can sometimes lead to workforce adjustments. It’s essential to monitor official announcements and news updates for any specific details on potential layoffs in the energy sector due to this merger

First HR is training replacements next will be ops leaders and cell leaders training their replacements. Then they will say GE hired 30% to many new hires and lay them off. By 2025 the workforce will be reduced and the work in Schenectady will be thinned out over other non union sectors. Good luck get all the overtime you can.

HR is now having to train their own replacements. Don't laugh. It's not funny.
