Sounds like he had a bad performance review if he didn't accomplish anything.

Maybe fear of getting fired for bogus performance issues throughout IT?

I'm starting to think that maybe Mike didn't have any accomplishments. Not a single reply.

Does anyone have a list of his accomplishments at GM?

Michael Abbott abdicated: https://www.reddit.com/r/GeneralMotors/comments/1bd7gp1/mike_abbott_steps_down/

So, I think the person is stating IT is probably going to break apart again like a plane at 30,000 ft experiencing HUGE decompression.

Although he had some plan in the works, looks like IT is going to have some new leadership(not sure where that is going to go).

Great information. Rephrased as "Super Reorg Syndrome". And, the conductor is?

We put re-Orgs on your Re-orgs! We noticed that you were getting to comfortable with your manager. So not only did we re-org you, we re-orged your manager and we Re-RE-orged your senior manage!
