With Sonos breaking into the headphones game (https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/sonos-ace), it'll be interesting to see how this affects Bose. Apple will likely be safe in the top spot (Apple + Beats), so this will probably most impact the next level down, which generally has been Sony & Bose. Will the Bose brand be able to carry the day?

Sonos is Direct Reflecting Bose
There is no way this won't affect Bose. People are not the brand loyalists they once were. Even a small impact on sales is an impact Bose can no longer afford. They slept at the wheel for at least a decade while the industry matured, caught up, and surpassed what had been Bose niches. There is virtually no way of catching up after that. It's just another wound in death by a thousand cuts.

Wow! I thought Bose was loaded with cash after selling off all of these assets...
The problem is that Bose is teetering on pre-bankruptcy and even a little bit may tip the scales.
I don’t think it really will hurt Bose. I think Sonos has a prettt loyal following and the customers from them will buy it based on name alone
And that's how both Bose and Sonos files for bankruptcy 😂
