Is it me or does it look like Target is putting the "Bullseye" on its employees? Many small layoffs by moving roles to India or to external vendors. Will our C-Suite leaders force its Hybrid or Remote employees back to the likes of the Big Blue Box (Da Walmarts)?

The difference is that there’s no risk of planes falling out of the sky with Target’s offshoring. Target sells junk produced in Chinese sweatshops that nobody needs.
Target's Minnesotan leadership got swindled by a team of scoundrels, and lost control of Target's organizational integrity. The outsourcing bloodbath will get worse, and if Boeing along with so many outsourcing disasters tell the similar story, it doesn't take a genius to see what's coming for Target.
Those laid off in Sioux Falls all were in office 5 days a week mostly. Delusional to think being in office spares you from the layoff axe, but guess it helps you sleep at night going in all the time thinking it will save you.
Feels like a change may be in the works with the credit portion. When Target is allowing or promoting the "Pay over time" option with the Affirm group, writing on the walls show changes are in the works. They are allowing for basket size being placed on it's signature Target Card/Circle Card to be drastically reduced.
They refuse to compete with other retailers when offering financing deals such like reduced rates or promotions.
Target is a retailer and not a bank. The credit pyramid may take a hit if they follow the likes of Walmart.
Remote is quietly going away just like the quiet layoffs. “Core weeks” was just the start. They probably won’t ever explicitly announce that remote is going away, but they’ll likely stop approving remote work requests and stop advertising HQ roles as remote, and make it impossible for remote workers to get promoted or change roles.
Hope it comes to me. The environment has become one with which I am not familiar. Gone by year-end.
