Looks like they're hiring nonstop over there...while not very much over here (office roles)...

Yes- I overheard a leader in my informal lunch meeting talking loudly about moving a certain type work to teams in India and asking about timing and action for when they would start moving the work
Hearing from friends saying Indian nationals in sr. management roles are behaving like racist thugs towards non-Indian Americans, in a concerted effort to get people to quit their US jobs, so more jobs can be moved to India. Labor law attorneys should be gearing up for a bo-m in business.
Targets marketing went to India? Wow! That should be a US function.
The next few earnings calls will dictate how soon they start to push more to TI.
In a round about way our group was told at some point our jobs would go to TI. The sooner the better.
Yes. Last I checked there were like 60 open jobs in MN (downtown/TNC) and like 300 in India. The latest push is in inventory/planning where they're creating a demand planning function entirely TII based. Leaders talk a big game about "team" and "development" but it's all lip service as they quietly offshore to TII.
Probably. In my experience, TII's work tends to be complete trash, but they cost 1/20th of what someone in the U.S. costs. As sales continue to decline my guess would be that a number of roles will move from the U.S. to India - much like we recently saw with Marketing.
