I know there were some cuts yesterday, but what about today? Does anybody know more about what's happening?

Kris Morris, Director of Marketing for Certiport, and Craig Bushman, General Manager of Certiport, were both let go yesterday. Ray Murray is taking over for Craig at this time. The impression is that these two either stood up to Ray or Ray considered them a threat.
Plus HR took severance away, so if you didn't think they cared about you before, they definitely are saying it loud and clear they don't care about you now. Lifetime committed valuable people thrown to the curb with a couple weeks pay. Disgusting. I should have left when I had my chance.
This company will ALWAYS be restructuring with layoffs. The company's been doing this for decades
I guess the fairy dust from Andy's tenure at Disney didn't produce results. Pearson ain't Disneyland folks but Andy is probably laughing all the way to the bank.
My biggest regret in my career was taking as long as I did to leave Pearson, if you are in any doubt - take the leap. The grass is definitely greener.
I know more are coming to my group very soon, expecting the notification any day now. Been hearing comments about report discussions from different execs for a few weeks.
I didn't know Andy at all but Fallon was a disaster. He sold off the Financial Times, as I recall (which makes money hand over fist).
What do you mean "take it stateside?" They are moving the company to the United States?

Pearson will keep cutting and laying off until they eventually take it stateside. It's all about profits and reducing costs as much as possible. Look what they did to POLs. Didn't care about the employees then and don't care about them now. Meanwhile Andy Bird is off enjoying his million dollar retirement in the sun. Explains everything about Pearson.
