Thread regarding Informatica Corp. layoffs

Stupid games yield weird prizes…

This company is a joke. Absolutely incapable CEO (he can’t even tell his full name without 3 or 4 umm) has gathered all the ye sayers around him.

The leadership has turned into a syndicate and there is no corporate governance whatsoever.

They hired a new CFO in January 2023 only to manipulate the markets and prop up the stock.

Insiders are selling their stocks right and left ( CSO sold more than 4.5 Mil, Chief Revenue Officer sold more than 2 mil, CPO sold more than 3 mil) right before announcing quarterly results.

Few SVPs are super busy in firing everybody who has shown some abilities to bring positive change to the company culture and offering.

Their modus operandi is that you will be put on lay off list especially if you are a US citizen or GC holder. And then you will be replaced by a substantially junior staff from India iLabs, brought to US on immigrant visas.

Stupid games can only yield weird prizes. These layoffs are nothing else but those weird prizes.

This game has gone so stupid, even the Chief Product Officer of Informatica, probably the only bright spot in the c suite, left Informatica on a 1 week notice. This speaks volumes on what’s cooking at Informatica.

This company, it’s c suite and the BOD must be investigated by SEC for sure to protect shareholder interests.

I have been a solution architect at Informatica for last more than 8 years. I have seen a rapid decline in the company culture and values, especially under current CEO.

Since he took over the role of CEO, the company structure has changed so much and for the bad, for every technical developer there are on an average 4-5 levels of supervisors.

And to get a simple change done, you will need to go through that ladder of supervisors. Back and forth. Nobody care about the solution or the client. We busy escalating through our ladders and pin pointing the blame game.

Why do we need them? After all who brought these ladders here? For such a small company with revenue around 1 Bl, why do we need such vertical hierarchy of designation? Who is getting benefitted out of it?

For last few years, all they have done is hire more and more people under the leadership to protect the job of the leadership. Having more people under a leader is helping the leader with more job security.

And that’s what is evident in recent layoffs. None of the leaders got laid off yet. GVP and above, everybody is safe, getting and selling more RSUs for profit.

Who got laid off are the people at and below VP.

This is a scam at its best. The confidence on the leadership is at its lowest ever.

Time for a change in leadership for sure before it’s too late.

This is so to the point. I got first hand experience of the acute bias against Americans by the Indian leaders.

SEC must step in and investigate the leadership ASAP.
