Moral: Don't write "Leadership" books a little too soon, while you are on the job. He has not been great during times of adversity. Didnt come forward, take the stage and speak out. Decided to stay silent and hide.

Apology would mean admission of guilt and hence more loss of money to deal with the mess. So Sathya better stop talking about Leadership and Compassion and all the fancy 'I am holier than thou" speeches. Most importantly: whatever happened to responsibility?! No one in the world knows who CrowdStrike is, but everyone knows it hit Microsoft systems, hard, and half of the economy had a major seizure because of that. You are the top dog: "To whom much is given, much is expected" and so Microsoft, show some leadership: the world needs and expects more from you at this time. Your messaging was too little, it came too late, you are spectacularly failing the test here....
