There are rumblings of layoffs this week. Does anyone know if this is true or are they just rumors?

i'd venture to say that the severance bonus makes it sting less? curious how they calculate it though...anyone have any insight?

I appreciate everyone responding and am so sorry for those affected. It sounds like this could go on all week and so the rest of us could still be affected!
I'm trying to find out if I'm the only one a particular something happened to, and if I am, then giving too much info makes me not anonymous anymore and I'm not comfortable about that. This wasn't done via email either.
What do you mean being “handled different” “iykyk” my friend/colleague said they sent out emails to the impacted people but didn’t send a mass communication of restructure.
No tea. Just being handled different than past layoffs. Being 'iykyk' while staying as anon as possible.

Can confirm the Richardson location was impacted. Management kept it under wraps and didn’t address it with teams, just the individuals that were let go. So shady!
