Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

2 Years Since the Layoff

I don't come here as much as I used to, but not surprising to see that things have not changed. I was in the marketing org, which seems to still be on life support. If you are there, tell us how it is, and many blessings to you.

HR has entered the chat. Wow. God forbid employees not enjoy being treated like cr-p.

Shiny object syndrome (SOS) is a continual state of distraction brought on by an ongoing belief that there is something new worth pursuing. It often comes at the expense of what's already planned or underway.

If you’re seeking a textbook example of how to turn minor inconveniences into full-blown dramas, look no further than the Oracle employee. These seasoned pros have elevated workplace grievances to an art form. At Oracle, it's not just about the occasional complaint—it's a constant symphony of discontent.

Oracle employees have mastered the craft of turning routine management decisions into epic sagas of managerial incompetence. Every decision, regardless of how trivial, is met with a chorus of "Why do they hate us so much?" The ability to turn a standard policy update into a drama worthy of a soap opera is truly impressive. One can only admire their dedication to ensuring that every slight, real or imagined, is dissected and amplified with the precision of a forensic analyst.

In Oracle’s enchanted realm, feedback and suggestions are less about improving conditions and more about perfecting the art of the grievance. The management team’s ability to ignore these complaints with the grace of a ballet dancer only serves to fuel the fire of discontent, creating a never-ending loop of dissatisfaction and eye-rolling.

For those who aspire to join a workforce where the highlight of the day is the latest managerial misstep, Oracle offers an unrivaled experience. Employees here don’t just complain—they elevate it to a lifestyle. It’s not merely a job; it’s an ongoing drama series, and they’re the stars.

Hopefully there are those that are taking action to expose individual(s) in mid mgmt that cause much harm to Oracle, to others by illegally lining their own greedy pockets misusing Corp assets while deflecting and abusing employees.

Judging by the activity on the board, everything must be perfect at Oracle!

That or everyone is too busy doing all the extra work that used to be done by those who were laid off.

Oracle is the same joke of a company, year after year. Its days of greatness have been over for a long time.

Well it’s like any abusive relationship, you still wonder what the abuser is up to because at one point the relationship was mutually beneficial between the 2 of you.

It's been four years this month for me. On the rare occasion I see a reference to Oracle in the news, I sometimes check this site - maybe 2-3 times a year. Wow, it never gets better, except for those of us who moved on!

you have been out of Oracle for 2 years and still coming to this site? I suggest you move on for your own mental health.
