What that may mean for the rest of us? Cuts have had the major reorg scope. It must affect other operations as well. Or at least it may be pointing towards some major changes coming in the other areas. Probably none of them would be good for us. Anybody have a clue what is really going on and whether we can expect more layoffs?

How many people were impacted in US Marketing?
I was part of the marketing team that was affected by the RIF. They let us know that our last actual day was Oct 1 (so we essentially have 2 months of pay/insurance covered) then severence based on years of service. Hard to know exactly, but in my case it was 2 weeks for each year worked.
Greater China team had 23 position slashed, mostly from marketing.
okay thanks for the response grounded in reality. If you watch the call, its at the 31:00 mark, he specifically called out looking at the R&D budget

It was in Jacob’s earnings Q&A. Read his message that came through. They are moving to other areas for cost savings.
next when? what is your source? who did you hear it from?
R&D and Operations are next
If you can do your job remote, I would be worried. Sounds like a push to move some roles to India.
There are some lazy folks in R&D. They are still hanging in there.. protected some how.
I’m sorry to hear that all. Not what is to come and whether to find another job before it hits the R&D Engineering.
I don’t think so. Remember that the previous RIF included every other department but not marketing.
Any knowledge on number of people impacted in marketing?
