I'm really not sure who the financial genius was that accepted the deal to GIVE products to a near trillion dollar industry and pay them to use them....
But, It wasn't a complete loss...Bobby M got to watch games in Kraft suite.
A lot of ex-employees got to watch while waiting in the unemployment office.
It's a surprise that it went on for as long as it did. It cost Bose untold millions of dollars and yielded virtually nothing. It was yet another in a very long list of poorly-considered and executed decisions and strategies.
