MRO employees have no home at Conoco

From the sounds of it, most if not all MRO employees are incompetent..

Never even had a home at MRO. Upper management always talked about how well the company is doing. Even to the point of going to field and telling our guys in a face to face meeting how well we are doing and we have plenty work for our guys. Let’s make MRO a top tier company etc etc. 3 weeks we get news of the sell!!!

COP love laying off employees. Their own and newly acquired ones. Expect a major round of headcount reduction just in time for a major holiday.

Less than 5% will come to COP all others severed. Surprised you don’t already know this!

Seems the COP employees should be seriously worried. Your management now sees how MOC only has the top performers and we manage to get the job done with fewer employees. They now see they are employing far too many people and only need top performers. At least we are getting severance. Your impending lay-offs will offer you nothing. Hold on your day is coming. Sincerely, MOC Top Performers

Majority of folks at MRO have only worked at MRO. And that, is what I think folks will have a rude awakening with. No Scottish mafia to protect you, no nepotism to protect you. Should be exciting to spectate!

@7oqa+1tbDzym3 To be fair, the name is MOC — Marathon Oil Corporation. MRO is the stock ticker symbol. But hey, when you’re trying to be a horses a-s, I guess you can manipulate things however you want.

I have worked for both companies and my recommendation is for all MRO people to locate a good affordable therapist and try to hold on. If you start visualizing violence or destruction try to get meds and hold on.
If this sounds too dark then I would look for a new job.

Hilarious. Unlike the OP, I’ve worked for both companies. Guess what — there’s good and bad folks at both of them. Judging by the OP’s comments, they’re clearly one of the dopes that’s too ignorant to realize they’re a dope.

COP is run with little to no supervision and the contracted do most of the work. Like most giant energy companies. MOC employees have worked their butts off with little to no contact help. Working at COP would be a walk in the park!! Your own employees have said as much. You have 6 employees in some departments doing the job for that we have one employee doing. Wasteful and useless people who get paid for doing a portion of what they could and not caring that the company is paying them. You wouldn’t have last at MOC. I would be ashamed, oh wait you have no conscious or ethics…

They’ll fit right in with the crowd at COP then.
