Big Ohai layoff on 1st October

I am from team OAL in US and impacted this time. Oct 22 is my last day.
Slow RIF this time across. Oct 1st declared and Oct 22 last day for many

If things are usual, then there must be layoffs and rumours of layoffs. That has become the norm!
RIFs still rolling out. I know of 3 that happened this morning.
Two years ago, many of my friends were let go. They all moved on to better jobs!
I work for Oracle Health, and I have not heard of any layoffs. It does not mean that it did not happen, but I usually hear quickly if that happens.

The saddest thing about oracle in my 15 or so years was that it wasn’t the work that was hard or difficult. It was people. I watch grown adults that were
my seniors, people who were supposed to mentor and advise me, younger by 20 years. Several men I recall. They legit sabotaged my career simply cause they were jealous that I shortened the learning curve. Pathetic men who ran to their boss to spread hate and lies. I never forgot that. Looking back they would be laughed at in the consulting world. They were weak men. Very sad but I never did that later in my life. I realized they were losers.
Former Siemens Med guy here. Ironically worked for SMS before Oracle...and when I saw Oracle bought Cerner.....I knew Cerner was done. Oracle does that to every acquisition. The company does not care about human beings and the filth that is in mgmt are absolutely horrible people.
I work in ohai. I it’s not only testers/qa but both oracle/cerner developers as well.

Yes, its true. OHAI layoffs happened Oct 1, 2024. LOTS of QA/Testing personnel cut. Does THAT make sense for a company that distributes software????? If you're weren't in a QA/testing tole, then you were a former Cerner employee.

I'm really glad I abandoned the ship before they could throw me off, and I truly feel for the Cerner folks.
oracle would lay off the entire workforce if it could mean a higher stock price and LE getting wet.

Got laid off today from OHAI. People at lower level suffering from stupid decisions of Directors and VPs

Got word from my manager this morning that layoffs are real, but seems to be fairly small in scope
