The dead silence of this group suggests: 1. Everyone who knew about it got fired or 2. Pearson has trolled it and people have been told to STFU. To resurrect it, hold on to your hats because insane stuff is to come.

At onetime Pearson was a place people would develop strong friendships across the organization. Pearson had smart, interesting and fun people wanting to make a difference. Sure we still have some great people in the organization but it is a different company entirely. The fun and swagger is gone and the opportunity to interact with coworkers is greatly reduced. Our current leadership appears to want to move the company in the right direction but at the same time our culture has almost completely disappeared. The silence on this board is partly because people care less about the company and don’t feel invested in the company or plan on staying long.
An interesting change to my org chart in Teams: a new department name now shows as a direct report to my boss’s boss. I imagine it’s directly related to the new org structure, and probably wasn’t meant for someone to see suddenly appear on a Saturday. Makes me wonder if something will happen on Monday. Anyone else notice a change like this?
There isn't enough space in the offices now (except Tech) for that. Re-org will be next ready to make us look attractive for a sale
They're going to force the 5-day-in-office nonsense down everyone's throats, pointing to Scamazon as the example. It's just an excuse to easily come up with a whole lot more bootees.
Read between the lines. 5 day in office is coming for many.
I’m wondering if there is silence because they might announce a 5-day in office work week for several locations as a “soft” firing come December and have been keeping it under wraps extremely well.
With the recent communication on executing strategy, I wondered the same thing. Sounds like managers will know more by December, with changes to come heavily in January. Higher leaders surely know more already.
I was thinking the same thing! I know there are a few lawsuits pending from that first round with POLS.
The calm before the storm, I suppose.
