Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Is Oracle in a hiring freeze?

Been sitting on a job offer for about 3 weeks (waiting on BOD approval). CX, revenue-generating position.

Anyone know if there's a freeze or is this typical?

I don't know about a hiring freeze, but getting a promotion is another thing!

CX Service should absorb CX sales and relieve hardly working lower level VPs having issues with RT.

Spoke like a lower level VP playing political game.

CX is an unmitigated disaster in Oracle. Terrible leadership, no strategy. Only reason RT gets to stay is he plays tennis with LE. He is the first person who should be SCanned. Don’t join CX. You won’t last long. No customers are buying Oracle CX products with the exception of field serviceā€¦.but thats been lost in the mismanagement of the CX product line.

From what I see the answer is no. Recruitment is going ahead for certain team, recs are being withdrawn from others.

revenue generating position ? BOD does not seem to think anyone is needed in CX in the new age of AI agents. AI Agents will write code, deliver and sell products.

LOL...I was "in the pipeline" for about 5 months, IIRC. That was a looooong time ago.

I am sure AI will make your process much quicker.

Typical wait time for BoD approval has been up to 2 months that I have personally experienced.

Looks like you are not aware of recent CX layoff history.
