Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Probably not true ... But we can hope.

Rumor has it that Wayne and some cronies are about to be investigated by a grand jury for fraud of some kind. But probably just wishful thinking.

There is definitely a lot of opacity in the forecast process amd certain adjustments that some groups are trying to get more clarity on. Maybe sending details of those insights to whomever in second line validates the forecast models might help them cut through the noise and better align the metrics with the Mission. The details of year ends back dates are not always made clear to all groups who are supposed to be kept informed. The San Francisco Airport is notoriously hard to navigate. Probably by design.

Follow the numbers from gearing ratios to product and member counts to routine year end back dates. Manipulation, intimidation and suppression at the top of the house.

Can you expand on the scorecard manipulation at life?

Look at life. Years of systemic member and product scorecard manipulation and ongoing suppression of material facts.

USAA hire all the big company talent but don't trust them. Lol use consultants instead. Distrust your people and it cost $$$.

Also look at what McKinsey did with Allstate - a profoundly unethical change to claims practices that eventually pulled the entire P&C industry along via pricing pressure.

Not sure about grad jury, but it is much simpler. If regulators want to just double click, they will find that a few of these ECs are gaming it up everyday vs purely focusing on doing what is right. It’s their dirty ego, ethics and game. I welcome the regulators if they are really interested, to investigate what’s happening behind the scenes

I'd be interested in knowing the "source," too. Grand juries are very secretive. Anyone leaking information is subject to criminal prosecution themselves. So I call BS, even though it would be welcome.
