First time posting here. I left USAA about a month ago. I provided more than 2 weeks notice because I needed to wrap up some projects before my last day. How does USAA repay me? By not paying me my leftover PTO. They referred me to their PTO policy that says leftover PTO that falls within the 15-day minimum will be forfeited upon termination. In other words, I'm a dum**ss for trying to do the right thing. Lesson learned and just confirmation that I made the right choice in leaving.

also, if you use more PTO than you have accrued it will get taken from last paycheck. Its PTO, not rocket science
What dept? I was in ECORT and had 5 days of PTO I hadn't used yet and was paid out. This was end of August.
In Sam Elliott‘s voice. Thanks for your service.
The PTO policy very clearly states that the first 15 days are use or lose and will not be paid out under any circumstances. While I don't like it either (the recent PTO policy changes all pretty much su-k), I don't understand why you would expect a different outcome.
So if you leave with 15 days or less of PTO unused, you lose it? Is that the policy?
That’s why I borrowed and used first 15 in January 😂
Haha; yes, you are correct -- I'm a dum--ss for not reading the policy! I hope it made you feel good to post that comment. You'll do great there!
They are stealing your valor!!!! Those swine!!!!
You are a dum--ss for not reading the policy.
ugh oh, someone didn't get the memo about the mandatory 15 day use it or lose it pto policy
I'm sorry. Thank you for posting for others!
