Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Off with their heads

All of them.

Why is it okay for the sh!t to roll down hill, but the people making the decisions get a pass?

So many issues and everyone shrugs their shoulders like it's no big deal. Then why come into work? What exactly are these overpaid directors and up actually do but look at screens all day and word vomit onto a PowerPoint? I wanna see these people TRY to practice what they preach because I guarantee 99% of them couldn't do the job they delegate everyone else to do.

Any manager that speaks up for their team or asks questions is fired for some cockamamy reason. No one wants to do better, they just feel threatened, so toss out anyone that challenges them for asking why? Drink the koolaid or get the boot - all the good managers are gone and replaced with sheep.

Overpaid directors???? they all report to Scott Deloach as he is so inept , he does not even have the ability to pick quality direct reports underneath him. he likes "yes sir" employees, deviate from this and you'll be put in the RIF'ed list

problem with this company for the last ten plus years is that everyone just follows orders. The bad ideas, thoughts and process always roll all the way down hill and get greenlit. Nobody ever at any level in the pecking order has the ba--s to stand up to their superior and voice their opinion that something is a stupid idea. This is why they never say "We are going to do X because of Y and Z" they say "Do X" because it was someone's stupid idea or pet project that no one had the nerve to tell them it was not a great or even good idea. Yes and everyone suffers from the top all the way down to the bottom.

Other big problem is constantly trying to reinvent the wheel.
