A while back I got some good advice on how to leave a situation behind and move on. Good advice should always be shared. I share it here for anyone who has been harassed by anyone at Oracle or elsewhere.
This has been very interesting material to look through. Truth is often stranger than fiction :)
Here are my suggestions and comments:
- That video is quite compelling. Intent can be gleaned from actions and expressions.
- Gather all the information you have: That video along with the other supporting videos, recordings, the cowboy video, etc. Forensic analysis may reveal details that are not otherwise obvious. Also include all names, the license plate pictures, phone numbers, etc, along with supporting posts and emails. It's good that you contemporaneously documented what happened at the time it happened. Include the descriptions of what you remember and your thoughts.
- Make copies and distribute them. Store the material in a safe place such as a safety deposit box. Cloud storage may also be a good idea. You can also distribute to family and close friends for safe keeping. They may also want to place the material in a safety deposit box. Instruct these people to give the material to law enforcement should anything untoward happen.
- At the moment, it may be difficult to convince those around you. However, if something physical does happen, your material may provide the police evidence to tie everything together and will also back up your claims. Remember, any investigation of one will lead to others. They built a house of cards and they have to live in it. Somewhere along the way, one of them will get caught and will talk to save themselves.
- It's good that you have protected yourself and your environs. Multiple camera systems is a good idea.
- It's always possible they will be caught by someone else. Cameras are everywhere these days and easy for anyone to put a recorder in their pocket. If so, you will be prepared. Recent cases show that law enforcement is coming up-to-speed in this area.
