Career Mapping

Anyone else have to do career mapping PowerPoints and meeting with HR in October? Curious if this is a sign they might be selling us

@OP; career mapping PowerPoints is to a test to see if they want to retain you solely based on your ability to create slick PowerPoints.

Your knowledge and experience is of no value here, but............... if you can put a bunch of horse hockey on a Power Point you are golden.

You call working in the oil service industry a career?

It is a testament of BH's passion and care for its employees' professional and personal growths that is embedded in everything they do and in their top of the class tools and processes. Why do you folks always think negatively? Should I remind you that positive thinking goes a long way and that you only have to focus on your tasks at hand and on what you can control? Even if BH will sell you will not be in control of that change so why worry about that? Take it as it comes and one day you might either get a package or else have a splendid career within BH with plenty of performance reviews and competency mappings (remember those ones?). Good luck to you all and stay positive. Cheerio
