Please stop spreading this lie Brittany.
you're starting rumors. that is not true.
Thank you for speaking some actual truth. If institutional problems exist in an organization, the blame falls on management. This is no different than one of the founders of Google blaming RTO on the company falling behind other AI companies. What line of garbage! The fault in that company lies with the CTO for making strategic mistakes. Just like the fault in USAA lies with AD and her fake leadership conferences where she puts on performative art for a captive audience of dim-witted EMG.
Consent orders keep happening because management su-ks at managing and can't get anything finished without changing the process two weeks later. It starts at the top. I left less than a year after being hired (just a couple weeks ago) and found something fully remote, where management lets me get my job done and leaves me alone unless one of us has questions. It's freakin amazing! I'm also included on creating processes instead of someone at the top or from a different group that's barely involved in the process.
Friends, don't listen to the haters! Keep challenging old ways of thinking (aka, policies) in a respectful way while you're stuck at USAA, but don't give up finding something new.
Yeah, when the employee benefits from a flexible work environment, it’s “privilege”. When USAA has a power outage, or a storm in the area, or needs people to log in nights and weekends, it’s expected. There’s a reason that employee satisfaction is at an abysmal level. Employers can’t just take and take and then act like the employees are “entitled ingrates” when they are unhappy about it.

Working from home is a privilege and not a constitutional right. If you think you are working in a prison environment, then why do you stay? Why haven't you partnered with another firm that allows you the options you desire? Apparently, you have the skill set, correct?
BS. That’s not happening.
The consent order is due to decisions made by higher leadership, not the front line. The employees are doing the work that is expected of them and then some, despite the office distractions and politicking. Most get more done in their at home day.
@1dyr+1uxCjd5b
If the work is getting done, then why do the consent orders keep rolling in? Oh wait, I know I know............
The logic is to blame everyone for the first loss in a century because they aren't all in office.
I don’t understand the logic. If the work is getting done, what does it matter the location? All this will do is ki-l an already dying employee satisfaction score. And they wonder why we are in the 20% range…but hey, pizza party anyone?
Privileges….spoken like a warden in a prison system. Only difference here is your talking about degreed professionals that will get burnt out and take their skills, experience and knowledge to another organization that values their employees. Maybe USAA can recruit from the correctional facility in the future!
This is what happens when you don't follow the company policy. Privileges are taken away due to the few with total disregard for the rules. It looks like USAA will be leaving no margin for error. The next step will be termination. I get that some people don't like the rules and they should look elsewhere. I have seen this happen with other firms as well. It takes a long time to get privilages back. You can down vote this all day long, but the reality is you can either abide by company guidelines or find a better fit. Nothing is forever.
Is 4 day implementation already active?
