Good luck to everyone in this position today. Remember, layoffs are almost always a failure of leadership and not you or your individual performance. If you are laid off today, I hope you are given an appropriate severance (don't sign anything until a lawyer looks at it if you can) remember that everything is negotiable, doesn't hurt to try to negotiate a better severance. No one deserves to be treated this way.

@rwy+1uycXZTD I feel very happy for you. TBH I got another job lined up to but doesn't pay as much as P+. I still need to find a part time job to make ends meet. But the job I got is a lot more sane and more respectful towards employees.

Personally, it was better for me to have advanced notice so I can interview. I have a job lined up if I need it

It's like lambs to the sla-ghter! Stay home and wait for the axe! AWFUL just awful that they have put so many of us through this over the past months, these people have no idea what it's like to worry about bills, health insurance etc. I truly am sad and defeated at such ruthlessness

Paramount Advertising Team,

As you know, a key part of the strategic plan outlined by our Co-CEOs is to reduce the size of our workforce in order to return Paramount to profitable growth.

Today is going to be a difficult day as this process will affect our org and we will be parting ways with talented and valued teammates and friends. I want to acknowledge how unsettling this may feel, as this is not the first time our org has shouldered impacts. None of this is easy and no decision was made lightly.

I encourage everyone to work from home today and to exercise grace and kindness toward one another as we navigate these undoubtedly tough changes.

I will email you all again once all impacted employees have been informed.

Best,

John

I wish today was the day for me too instead of having to wait another week of these fools inundating us with work because they think somehow that's going to save them from getting axed.
