They layed off 30+ employees anyone from analyst to director!! Claimed it’s because of lack of return to office everyone is saying it’s a mass layoff in disguise so they can’t come after them! Terrible company! Zero warning just a call from HR on a random Monday in October teams were not notified and left scrambling some lost their director and have no direction now!

All of these can be applied to Epsilon too:
'horrible horrible leadership (especially Publicis health media)
horrible office (plenty of bug & mice traps)
most employees think they're the president of the US lol; no you're just a pawn in a corrupt big pharma game
liars
company will be all India/ Columbia based in a few years
insurance gets worse & worse
less holidays every year (go woke go broke)
stress levels & work life balance is heavily dependent on your team
Trust me... they did you all a favor... get out & be thankful!!'
It's the biggest garbage dump company ever.
how can we all reach eachother? Can @ "someone set up an email? those affected should be able to communicate with eachother."
Please set it up. Use an anonymous email like proton so that it's not traceable and share it here.
Forgot to mention the many many lawsuits the groupe is facing... lol hopefully they loose them all

@2zuz+1v7Bpm5M how can we all reach eachother? Can someone set up an email? those affected should be able to communicate with eachother. it is traumatizing what happened to us and how they handled it
@2tky+1v7Bpm5M "I am interested! I forgot about the WARN act and they are 100% held to this in IL.
Please make sure your lawyer is rock solid.
Publicis will claim it wasn't a layoff - you were all fired with cause for violating RTO.
And, you very well know they track your every click online - not just on work computers, your personal phones, online browsing habits, smart TV browsing habits - everything is connected to your name, address and household information via Core ID. That's why they bought Epsilon to get that household data so they can connect that to your online behavior. If you have anything"bad" that you don't want to become public, be very careful. Better work with friends inside to expose the company. That's the only way.
Don't do anything rash to become a hero.
@2zuz+1v7Bpm5M I'm interested
Y’all, publicis isn’t a legit business. It’s an investment vehicle. They gobble up smaller agencies, and then make em lean, mean ad machines (with no interest in actually doing good work or treating their clients well). If you company gets acquired by publicis you need to find a new job, immediately.
2zuz+1v7Bpm5M I am interested! I forgot about the WARN act and they are 100% held to this in IL.
Publicis needed to find money at the expense of their own talent. The RTO policy is an excuse to lay off as much as they could. Not to mention the horrible downgrade of the insurance switch for their employees
Also was apart of the Publicis lay off. Had less than 1 hour after receiving the HR call before being automatically logged off of everything. Couldn't even alert my manager or team/ pass off all the many documents they needed.
I am interested in a Class Action lawsuit as this violates the WARN act.
Up Vote this if you were affected by this and would be interested
The sickest part of it all is it wasn't ALL the people who weren't adhering to RTO; that would mean half the company would be gone. It was some imaginary threshold they created in their heads and never told anyone. Implemented by a French CEO where this wouldn't even be legal in his own country. He always struck me as a useless tw-t, but this is really the icing on the cake. Guarantee he didn't have the cajones to send out one of his useless, self-indulgent videos afterwards either.
Some of the people fired had 20+ years at the company. No severance. Just last paycheck and health insurance for a month. So they were able to do their job well all during the pandemic but not going in 3 days is a legit reason to fire them? It seems very cruel. That’s corporate America for you
@2otq+1v7Bpm5M "... How many of you were only staying at this job because it was your safety net for money? At what point does everyone that’s fed up band together and unionize the advertising industry."
Yes. If the job market was better a lot of folks would leave. But for now they need to pay the bills ( including medical bills ).
No. The adtech industry is completely sc--wed up. Both major political parties will keep it going since they need the data and ability to influence people. No one cares about morality and ethics. No one will allow unionization in this industry.
@2zne+1v7Bpm5M Speaking for myself I can confirm I never got a warning on my attendance until I was fired on Monday. Was otherwise in good standing. We were only told that not coming into the office could impact merits or promotions, nothing about termination until Monday.
How many people who have worked for this company have been working at the company for multiple years with excellent performance reviews yet never given a raise but always more work. How many of you were only staying at this job because it was your safety net for money? At what point does everyone that’s fed up band together and unionize the advertising industry.
they are telling current employees that people were given warnings and didn't change their behavior so they were fired. these "warning" meetings happened less than two weeks ago and i was told "you aren't meeting the threshold (i was close!) but nothing is going to impact you since you aren't eligible for any merits" - fast forward to now and i don't have a job. myself and others who got these calls, did comply with the policy after these meetings too. the real kicker is that at my agency it was people who had been at the company for years and were making higher salaries within their brackets... clearly this was to cut costs. pub media is already in the process of replacing everyone at the associate level with off-shore people, it's only a matter of time
I worked at Publicis years ago and they sc--wed me over back then. I think the leadership has not changed they just keep getting new titles and more money. Hopefully it is a blessing in disguise for all of you. If you are going to start looking and have pharma I would reach out to Havas, they have roles open in that area.
Cut out the in fighting guys. We are all anxious. Has anyone heard from any other offices? We are all pretty anxious, specially in this market.
I have seen top notch folks not finding jobs in 6 months after a layoff.
1fbj+1v7Bpm5M Babes are you okay? When they say offshore they mean the Latin America team that Publicis has that they pay Pennie’s to. I had an analyst who was making 500 USD a month on his salary paycheck?
Don’t think anyone here was being problematic but you went there.

The question "why did you stay when you found out Publicis Health was helping pharma companies push addictive opi--ds on the populace. They got fined 350 million just for that - it was a historic fine in this industry!
Why didn't you all become whistle blowers?
What did you expect a company that helps push dr-gs do with their employees when they were done using them??"
Why don't you answer this question? Why do you continue to work in a criminal org?

All these complaints about Publicis - but why did you stay when you found out Publicis Health was helping pharma companies push addictive opi--ds on the populace. They got fined 350 million just for that - it was a historic fine in this industry!

Most ad tech companies are not doing well, and ai is replacing a lot of workers.
Oracle ad shut down, Google's ad tech lost 10k people to AI and yet here you guys talk about off shoring being the reason for your layoffs.
It's always someone else's fault and if you can pin it on people with a different colored skin - then you are happy. It's your greedy bosses who are making money off your back because they know you are sheep.
Prove me wrong. Create a whistleblower group and expose all their frauds and criminal activities. Nah, you don't have guts. So whine and moan and blame the brown guys and go worship the orange cow and buy his golden shoes and Chinese bibles.
8+ years at Publicis/Zenith. No write ups, warnings, great reviews. Got on a call w HR on Monday morning and my Teams is disconnected mid convo. No call back. No severance. Not eligible for a Publicis rehire. Just dismissed like nothing.
The latest way to fight RTO has been submitting for a "medical" exception to support why they couldn't come back to work. One person put in a medical claim a week after they tried to apply for remote work because their commute was "too long". Our entire team then saw her traveling the world on Instagram. How sick could she be if she is riding on ATVs or going to Paris? It pi---s everyone off to see others gaming the system when we have been following the rules as well as carrying their work load. Want to put a smile on people's faces? Get rid of the grifters.
I also hope this will put an end to the RTO discussion. When people claim they didn't know or weren't told, it is a joke. The guy who leads our account hasn't stopped talking about it for two years. It is like enough!
I’ve heard that they fired people with remote in their contracts, someone who was transitioning and was told they could work remote AND a VP who was pregnant and about to go on maternity leave was fired assuming so they don’t have to pay her leave.
They're looking to totally replace all US based workers with off shore workers they pay a fraction of the price for... this is much deeper than you think
Leadership of Publicis & especially Publicis health media is a bunch of lying deceiving horrible people; look up a few of their names on tik tok to enjoy them posting their dating life stories like a bunch of teenagers
This is awful. They laid of a wonderful hard working employee who’s been there 1.5 years out of college. Loved the agency and her team. Got same BS reason. RTO. She was in office 3-4 days a week and followed direction of her supervisor. Awful look for one of the largest agencies in the world.
Focus gentlemen.
College information.
If you were given choice to not come in on specific days and did meet the RTO needs, but penalized and fired - don't sit in it. Sue the su-kers.
Or group together and file a class action suit.
"They funneled too much money in their scam of a company epsilon(who has two lawsuits against them) and were about to have a bad quarter so had to recover money somehow by hiring in new people cheaper."
Yup, they paid half a BILLION dollars in fines within 3 years for scams they pulled on the elderly and for pushing opi--ds.
They should be shut down.
Btw, that's just the tip of the iceberg. A small percentage of the old timers at Epsilon - think of folks with 15-25 years tenure with full access to the data - misuse the data for their own gains. It ranges from just snooping on buying patterns of their friends and neighbors, to sharing with their spouses who might be working for a different ad company, to using that data in their own business. This is true for all the offices.
Epsilon sh-t will hit the fan sooner or later.

Insane right?? My boss was like imagine looking at your performance seeing you excel and then firing you because of RTO without a single notice or warning. They funneled too much money in their scam of a company epsilon(who has two lawsuits against them) and were about to have a bad quarter so had to recover money somehow by hiring in new people cheaper.
SAME HERE remote team members there would be no one to go in for still went in semi regularly tried to adhere to RTO best as possible, never was given a warning about termination, never even received negative feedback about performance. I can understand breach of contract but this is not how you treat employees. A warning would have been nice or a discussion? as everyone’s situation or reason for going in or not is different!!
Any talks about any other offices being affected?
@zzd+1v7Bpm5Myoi should consult an employment lawyer. This looks like reason for a lawsuit.
Thanks! I was the only one in the cities office I lived in so my VP and AD were like "we're not requiring you to go in on Mondays, but please do at least three days" I was like sure! So I was doing exactly that. A manager on my team who has NEVER gone into the office got to keep his job, I assume because he has been with the company 8+ years so his severance would have been way too much.
@pdj+1v7Bpm5M sorry to hear about your situation. They must have just wanted an excuse to get rid of people. It's a numbers game with real victims.
Don't trust this company, or any company for that matter.
Hope you land in your feet somewhere.
I was laid off and I was doing three days remote, they were upset I wasn’t doing Mondays. I know people who had remote contracts and they still were laid off from their job.
No warning, no notice, my boss is so so angry. It’s INSANE.
Why not the Texas office. What a money su-k!
100s of Oracle DB admins running Oracle databases, with their St VP making cut money from buying more Oracle sh-t!!
They should be the first on the list.
The Denver office is a close second or on par with Texas. Old technology, engineers behind by a couple of decades. They all need to be dumped.
were the people laid off EVER given a prior warning?
Why can't they do this to the Denver office muh Lord! Don't stop at 30, 300 please!!
🙏🙏
