Insightful. It is surprising he doesn't understand the effect of RTO on ESAT. He couldn't be straight with employees about the real reasons for RTO, and employees see through it.

I've long suspected "Best Bank" was paid for PR, so that's interesting to hear . USAA has become too much an optics culture.

Any city that wants white collar workers back should stop running Mayorkas' playbook of treasonous foreign invasion.

Retired EMG here. I have had numerous interactions with Wayne over almost thirty years.

Wayne is being pushed out by the board over the ESAT score. He was very stressed out about the rate for many months before retiring. Surprisingly, he really does not understand RTO’s effect. He can only se this - COVID is over and San Antonio wants a certain demographic to move to the city, which requires being in-office. Tax benefits and BAU.

The new CEO will most likely be another civilian. The game of Executive chairs will continue. The board has the same line of thinking as Wayne that will not change with a new CEO. The new CEO will be aligned with the board.

Relaxing of RTO and removal of CIGNA will not occur anytime soon. I am very surprised by the level of cognitive dissonance displayed by former colleagues.

USAA does not reflect the company I joined and strived to serve. It is a narcissistic abuser that will continue to take more and more from you. The public optics are based on PR money, such as being Forbes Best Bank.

Once the PR strategy is no longer accepted, there is maximum likelihood that the Fortune 500 rating will steeply fall. It is all about optics versus substance and data driven decisions.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you work in the Bank area, even Well’s is preferable to get actual Bank experience versus the compliance nightmare that will continue until 2030 at this rate. There is not a strategy - just fire drills and constant leadership changes.

Wanting Wayne hint is well and good, but hoping that things will improve when the new Wayne arrives is, well... I do hope you're right, but hope is not a strategy. The Board has been 100% supportive of every toxic and destructive action Wayne has taken. They care more about the opinion of McKinsey, BCG, and Blackrock than the members or employees.

So I hope you're right, but...

Funny how Wayne tried to dismiss the 36% score by saying 78% aren't leaving. Yes Wayne, we lied about staying because we know those who answer they don't like it find themselves on the future layoff list. We don't trust HR nor EMG. Get it through your dyed hair we want YOU gone. Once you leave, employee satisfaction will jump back to historical levels of 85%.

Giving back to veterans is a very mission based gesture, but the difference between genuine support and using someone’s sacrifice as a PR tool can be stark. What should have been a dignified moment for our member turned into a lengthy, staged photo opportunity.
For those who missed it, our member, an amputee, was asked to perform a series of actions like getting in and out of the car and opening the trunk. This required him to remove his prosthetic leg while constantly on camera, just to meet the demands of the shoot.
If we truly value our veterans, our support should focus on respect and comfort, not prolonged publicity. Let’s ensure that gratitude is shown in ways that honor veterans’ dignity.

@xiz+1v9ZWUZO This has to be a troll, but gifting a car to a veteran is one of the most USAA things I can think of, in a good way.

It's one of only a handful of things in the last several years where I can say hats off to USAA for doing something good. (Face the Fight being another one.)

Loved the part when he compared the % unhappy with work and % planning to leave. He can’t understand how people are willing to stick out his leadership with the hope that someone better will come along….

36% ESAT. "Glad to see a 3 point uptick". They don't care. They get their millions each year regardless. RTO, shut up and work wage slave!

Can you believe they gave a car to a veteran?? That money could go to our bonuses!!!! I hope somebody calls the FBI about this misappropriation of funds. We need an investigation into wasting member’s money.

Unbelievable!
