VCF just laid off many. Does anyone know when Velo will start making its cuts now that it is a stand alone company?

As far as regular management knows, no action is coming. Whether the BU GM or HT himself have plans, only they know.
I've been told layoffs are now 60 days pay in lieu of 60 days warning so trying to guess based on the next RSU drop is probably not gonna work. But, I'd think a safe bet would be before the Dec RSU date if any action is coming.
The sooner the better. A quite useless product in a market space invaded already long ago by other vendors... Thanks to some old corporate shark that wanted to lucrate for his retirement. The plan failed but the better people in there eft the boat already sinking long ago !
It’s true. Some people were let go. This last Thursday and Friday
Only sales. They are not under vcf bu. Again there's no layoff on vcf engineering. Period
I've never worked at VMware so I'm not sure of the internal organization either before or after the Broadcom fiasco, but my LinkedIn feed has several new "open to work" posts from VMware folks this weekend. The ones I know were all "general" pre-sales people and the ones I didn't know appear to be also. Not sure if they were in the VCF organization or not, but there were layoffs somewhere.

There's no VCF layoff. Stop spread FUDs.
There's no more silly people would believe them.
Nobody was laid off from VCF… constantly fake news…
Working in Broadcom is great, more money , work as usual…
Someone who didn’t work before he is scared all others don’t care for rummers.
Stop posting fake news.
VCF just laid off many.
