Accenture Layoffs 2025

If the market makes a turn soon, do you think there will be Accenture layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

The performance thing is not accurate. Accenture lays people off right before they vest it is their known business plan. Then they wanna hire you back, boo.

I joined a team where work was actually being held back from us because the lead wanted to be transferred back to the United States from Argentina. In the end, the two people from the US were laid off to bring the lead back from Argentina. It was a nightmare. People were also expected to work overnights weekends 15 hour days. It was upsetting to start a job where work was being held back and others were struggling working 15 hour days (the work could’ve been as distributed) and the entire team was just trying to get projects / info. The lead was literally holding back access to teams files so we often had limited information. … we found out a year in that our lead was not our boss. That is ridiculous. Who doesn’t know who their boss is?

Lead also was going in and out of meetings into the ER having panic attacks trying to do all the work instead of dispersing it. She broke down many times in a formal setting. They have employee resource groups (ERGs) where I literally heard a guy tell 300 people he had a “nervous breakdown’ at Accenture due to being overworked and overtraveled.

All the managers directors, etc. had been laid off >5 times. It is common to be laid off many many times at Accenture. What they don’t realize is these practices could really ruin a person‘s life. Especially on a single income.

We were clearly told by our lead “don’t believe anything they tell you at Accenture, they are full of s#%!.”

Yes, they pay a lot but you might sell your soul if you work there.

Accenture are laying off senior managers who have been with the company for 20-30 years with very little severance. Thanks Ms Sweet. Your company is turning into junk status just like most companies. We are disgusted.

Layoffs stared today and not under performers. People who have been with Accenture for 20 plus years and above average performance were layed off.

No, maybe underperformers get laid off as Meta and Microsoft are leading the way. Too many people are leaving on their own as well....But underperformers seem more logical choice, no severance to be paid out.

Oldies, blacks, Chinese, Indians will all be laid off before letting go any whites. Minorities can be easily fu---d.

This is ridiculous HR openly talking about layoff as they are going to treat employees like turkey in the wild forest. Employees to be fu---d.
