Thread regarding DIRECTV layoffs

Will a deal be reached or just extensions?

Multiple extensions. Is it likely the deal will be made or not?

This is how the executives milk out a couple extra years of insane compensations that they have to save up since it may take many years to find another company to lead...

Big annual salary + bonus (for driving down company, further decreasing margins and resulting in layoffs. they would rather lay off than decrease their comp!)

Then...tada! Here comes the golden parachute. In addition to those extension-driven salaries a big payout. Enjoy in return, your 2-week notice before being laid off.

Your layoffs are keeping these incompetent "leaders" around because sales are declining.
