Hearing these from multiple folks, does anyone confirm?

Will these layoffs include people from Service, Admin Solutions, Ops, or Tech Support?
Don’t you have any idea this can be ignored and filed at later time by just paying small fee to the state where they are laid off?
Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act mandates that employers with 100 or more employees provide 60 days advance notice before a plant closing or mass layoff affecting a significant number of workers; this essentially constitutes "public notification" to affected employees and the community at large.
Key points about the WARN Act:
- Who needs to comply: Employers with 100 or more full-time employees.
- What triggers a WARN notice: A plant closure or mass layoff affecting 50 or more employees at a single site within a 30-day period.
- Notice period: 60 days advance written notice must be provided to affected employees and state and local government officials.
