Everyone, hurry to Iris to download this!

There's still time for us to memorize some key talking points to use if things get too worker-friendly after a couple egg nogs.

Yes I've read the HCSC forum and find them not perfect but a lot less toxic than Cigna. I would choose Cigna 4 years ago vs HCSC, but Cigna has recently changed so much for the worse that a regional BCBS plan is much better than this Cordani horse and poney show.

As a Cigna Medicare employee, I am happy to be leaving this place and even better yet, that I get to take all my co-workers with me to a new company.

I love how Cigna pushed many employees to resign by creating a toxic work environment, remember this: they will move on. In 2-3 months, they will find a better opportunity and thrive. But they will never forget how you treated them—how you shouted, humiliated, and misunderstood them because your ego stopped you from communicating with empathy. You Need better leadership.

I’ve never heard of a company given employees talking points to us off the clock. Literally we are off the clock and speak based off our own opinions and values. Now we have pressure to shut it. Yes we have free will but we also have bills and don’t want to be against the narrative. I’ve been at Cigna for a long time and this doesn’t really surprise me considering a lot of the talking points are facing heavy government reform. It’s sad cause I don’t wanna see more layoffs but I don’t see this going well. I’ll be saying what ever TF I want. I’m not paid enough to care about their talking points. Leave all that to the ELT.

So while everyone else in my family gets paid days off this week, not only do I have to work every single day except for Christmas, but I also have to defend Cigna’s greed and shady business practices on the only day we have off?

Seriously, go fu-k yourself. I’ll be sure to let my entire family know that Cigna is a DOGSHIT employer.

That is nauseating to read. And the butt kissers in the comments lol.

What happened to the CEO was a terrible unnecessary tragedy. ANY act of violence is terrible and unnecessary. What is also tragic is the media coverage and the amount of effort that went in to finding the mu-----r. Folks get gunned down daily in this country for no reason, the media coverage is brief but they move on but if you are a millionaire CEO, law enforcement from everywhere will be involved and it will be on every news station for days. And then you will be offered emotional support by your employer to cope with it? If you are a nobody, you will be just another statistic. Again it was sad, tragic, and unnecessary but I wish we had this same empathy and attention for the every day folks that lose their life in senseless acts of violence each and every day. Society in general is broken.

I’m no fan of the current insurance industry, but to think single player offers a better experience is wildly ignorant.

Free market healthcare is the solution.
Good ol’ supply & demand.
Providers can only charge what patients will pay.
Providers save bigtime by slashing admin costs.

Government involvement is why a simple IV & fluid procedure for a commercial patient costs $5,000.

The comments section is the best part of any iris article.

My favorite part is all the comments supporting this propaganda.

I teared up from laughter, what kind of garbage is this? You want me to spread memorized Cigna propaganda when I'm with my family?? I'm saving it so I can laugh at all the reasons a privatized health insurer thinks it's a bad idea to move to a single payer model 😂
